WOW……. I wish you all knew how long and how much it has taken me to get to this point, but to say I’m excited does not even begin to scratch at the surface! I have thought about launching a website, starting fitness programs, writing a blog, doing a vlog, curating more social media content and yet I was just so worried about what other people would think - would I be annoying - would people even care?! But it’s time that I put those feelings aside, BOSS UP, and just MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! I have ran fitness programs for years and helped countless amounts of men and women, but to be here… with my own site… my own work out programs… and my very own means to help masses of people is just so exciting!
It all started… well when I was a little girl to be honest - I’ve always been a very active person moving nonstop and I have that same inner child today - cannot stop moving! Throughout the years, I’ve played countless amounts of sports from soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, and ran track. In college, I stuck with soccer and played four years at the D-1 level and it truly impacted my life for the better. My sophomore year, I suffered a shoulder injury that kept me from playing soccer for about 8 months, but in that time, I fell back in love with the art of working out - yes, to me, fitness is a beautiful art that when taught and done correctly, it is incredibly satisfying!
Fast forward post college, I gained so much weight post-soccer days and I was really unhappy and realized through some health training how horrendous my nutrition was and had been throughout my years of playing. I started making subtle changes and dropped a lot of weight while my workouts were definitely less intense than my days playing soccer - yet you would think the opposite right? Totally wrong… the biggest difference of course? My nutrition! I soon fell in love with trying out new ways to eat healthy while being on a budget and finding time to get work outs in despite a chaotic work schedule.
In 2017, I competed in my first bikini competition where I not only saw the benefits, but I felt the benefits as well. The entire process was crazy (I will write a blog post on this one for sure because it was absolutely insane), but looking back, I am so grateful I did it because it helped me with self-discipline, confidence, and the ability to trust that I can do anything I want if I just GO FOR IT!!
Since the show, my body has seen some better days (internally) as I have struggled with many hormonal imbalances and that led me to doing plenty of searching for the right balance between being healthy and fit without being completely insane about it! I truly believe I have found that balance and I have learned SO much along the way and I cannot wait to share with you all!
I have a deep passion to help other find ways to lead a healthier and happier life without crazy diets and restrictions. I want to help as many people as I possibly can and I feel like if I can teach something new to at least one person each day, then I am doing my part in giving back. My hope is to not only just help one person a day of course, but we all have to start somewhere right?!
With that being said, I have some really exciting announcements in the next few months that I cannot wait to share with you all and I am just SO grateful to have you here on this journey with me… Stay tuned!!!
